SINUMERIK 802D sl
SINUMERIK 802D solution line is an operating panel control unit which combines all the components of a CNC control system (CNC, PLC, HMI) in one unit. A decentralized, simplified system structure with innovative drive technology, DRIVE-CLiQ interface enables six digital drives to be connected. The peripherals are linked up via the PROFIBUS DP. This makes installation as simple as possible and requires only minimal wiring. The functionality of this control unit makes it ideal for use with standard turning and milling machines. The modular drive system offers maximum flexibility for all applications. Improved project planning consistent tools (Sizer, Starter) are great helpful through project planning, ordering, and start-up.
Comparing traditional 802D, SINUMERIK 802D solution line provides many benefits for the customers with their extensive application, like improved performance, easiness to use with DIN programming and ISO code, excellent reliability, compact control unit consisting of CNC, PLC, HMI and I/O component, complete unit delivered in the basic package, extensive programming aids provided by cycles and contour definitions, digital drive technology via the DRIVE-CLiQ interface, consistent uniformity and digitization of interface, modular basis for drive functions and increased flexibility through individual performance and intelligence functions, requiring no batteries or fans and zero maintenance therefore.
Full functionalities of SINUMERIK 802D sl present Siemens latest technology and innovation products, like five digital feed axis: four of which interpolate with one another, one as a digital positioning axis and a corresponding digital spindle (analog spindle under development); alternatively, with the C axis function, three digital axes, one digital spindle, one digital auxiliary spindle and one digital positioning axis. New generation of Siemens drive technology platform, SINAMICS S120 converter system via DRIVE-CLiQ, provides improved diagnosis with error recognition integrated in component level (DRIVE-CLiQ), standard CF card, accessibility from the front (back-up storage of complete series start-up file and sub-programs, rapid program processing with CF card), two hand wheels with terminal connection, 216 digital inputs and 144 digital outputs (0.25A), RCS802 - remote diagnosis and remote control (NC and PLC), RCS@Event (remote diagnosis by email), USB port (under development).
Integration of the SINUMERIK 802D sl connect the following components: up to two electronic hand wheels, mini handheld operating unit, machine control panel via I/O module PP 72/48 or via MCPA module, the MCPA module is plugged in on the rear of the PCU 210. MCPA module contains connections for the machine control panel and also analog interface for the analog spindle. Up to three I/O modules PP 72/48 can be connected.
